Before I tell you how it went this past weekend, I have to tell you that Lorenzo returned to the pediatrician for his six month appointment. He weighed 19 lbs, 8 oz and was 27 inches long... about 75 or 80 percent larger than other boys. The pediatrician said that Lorenzo can eat just about the same food we eat - pureed or smashed and gradually (each food has to be introduced every three days. Gradual is key). The other day, he tried broccoli, carrots and cauliflower. He likes carrots... the cauliflower and broccoli? Well...
This weekend, we went out to the country to Round Top, a small town known for it's international antiques fair with over a thousand dealers... a massive festival. We stayed with friends of the family in their bed and breakfast - we had a great time and Lorenzo was very happy. As you'll see, he was full of laughs and smiles...
Prima che vi racconto com'e' andato questo fine settimana, vi devo dire che Lorenzo e' tornato dal pediatra per il suo appuntamento di sei mesi. Pesava 8.85 kg ed era lungo 68 1/2 cm... verso 75 o 80 percento piu' grande dei altri maschi. Il pediatra ha detto che Lorenzo puo' mangiare quasi quasi il stesso cibo che mangiamo noi - frullato o schiacciato e in moderazione (ogni cibo si puo' introdurre ogni tre giorni). L'altro giorno ha provato broccoli, carote e cavolfiore. Gli piacciono le carote... il cavolfiore e broccoli? Ma'...
Questo fine settimana siamo andati in campagna a Round Top, un piccolissimo villaggio noto per una feria internazionale di antiquarati con piu' di mille rivenditori... e' una feria immensa. Stiamo stati con amici di famiglia in la loro pensione - ci siamo divertiti e Lorenzo era molto contento. Come vedrete, era pieno di risate e sorrisi...
