Milk everywhere - Latte dappertutto

Tonight we decided to teach Lorenzo how to use a glass to drink milk. All in all, he probably spilled a few gallons of milk but he was good, even if he would occasionally spit out mouthfuls of milk everywhere. He had a nice plate of fish, asparagus and roasted fennel.

Stasera abbiamo deciso di insegnare a Lorenzo come si usa un bicchiere per bere latte. Tutto sommato, ha rovesciato almeno cento litri di latte ma era bravo, anche se sputava qualche sorso di latte dappertutto. Ha mangiato un bel piatto di pesce, asparagi e finocchio al forno.

Today is cold... 39 degrees! But due days ago, the weather was much milder and we went to a park with Lorenzo to enjoy a bit of fresh air. Lorenzo turned 15 months old and he keep growing every day...

Oggi fa' freddo... 4 gradi! Ma due giorni fa', il tempo era molto gradevole e siamo andati a un parco con Lorenzo per godere un po' di aria fresca. Lorenzo ha compiuto 15 mesi e cresce ogni giorno...

When is Christmas Coming? Quando Arriva Natale?

Lorenzo is getting ready for Christmas... he met Santa Claus (and found to him to be rather unfriendly), he saw snow, took part in a Christmas parade, discovered Christmas lights and even paid our bills so we could buy him a gift.

Lorenzo sta' preparando per Natale... ha incontrato Babbo Natale (l'ha trovato un po' antipatico), ha visto neve, partecipato in una sfilata natalizia, scoperto le luci di Natale e ha anche pagato in nostri conti cosi' potremo comprare qualche regalo.

A nice day in downtown Houston - Una bella giornata nel centro di Houston

Houston is enjoying some wonderful weather... cool sunny days and cold nights. Instead of staying at home, we decided to go downtown for a festival... various artists used pastels to create stupendous designs on the pavement. Since Lorenzo is on the verge of walking, it was hard trying to stop him when he wanted to walk on the masterpieces.

Houston sta' godendo tempo meraviglioso... giorni freschi pieni di sole e notti fredde. Invece di stare a casa, avevamo deciso di andare al centro per una festa... vari artisti usavano gesso per creare disegni stupendi per strada. Siccome Lorenzo sta' per camminare, era difficile fermarlo quando voleva camminare sopra i capolavori.

A Busy Weekend - Un Fine Settimana Occupato

This weekend we were relatively busy... Friday night we went to a little Halloween party. Saturday, we went to the zoo to see the monkeys and elephants. That night, we went to Texadelphia to watch the Longhorns play (...and you know what happened). Then, today we went to church, lunch and then to a park. Lorenzo's on the verge of walking - we know he can but he won't let go of our hands.

Questo fine settimana eravamo abbastanza occupati... Venerdi' sera siamo andati a una festa di Halloween. Sabato, siamo andati allo zoo per vedere le scimmie e gli elefanti. Quella sera siamo andati da un ristorante per guardare una partita di football (mannaggia... abbiamo perso). Poi, oggi siamo andati a chiesa, pranzo e poi a un parco. Lorenzo sta' per camminare - pensiamo che ci riesce ma non lascia le nostre mani.
